Project Overview

Civilians are not able to reach social welfare bodies if they have a rooting problem in their society. It is a web and mobile-based community app that works as a bridge to connect society and firms or NGOs. The social welfare app also has a landing page to engage more users online.The app has 2 major parties; one is the community members, and the other is firms & NGOs. It has many features like a user can post a problem by adding a photo, video, or message. One can also earn money by engaging with the community problems posted by a fellow member. They can also earn it by answering the predefined or survey questions curated by a business in the welfare app. Such data is then separated for businesses or NGOs who are willing to resolve the issue.

Challenges

Reaching Non-Tech-Savvy Users
The major challenge was to make the social cause app reach a large chunk of people who were not familiar with today's tech and its advances.
Connecting the targeted work group directly in the app was a task.
It was a lot of brainstorming and decision-making when selecting the best workflow of features and functionalities for the social impact app.
Problem Posting & Social Integration
The experts had to ensure that a user could manually add the details of the problem faced by his community with proper descriptions.
We had to give multiple options to post a problem to gain traction.
We also had to integrate social apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.
User-Friendly Design
It was a task to make a UI for people of every age, occupation, and literacy rate.
We had to find a middle ground where a design could fit all the kinds.
To keep the users engaged with the app, we had to come up with an active participation module.
Minimal UI & Handling Large User Base
Many components required in this project had to have varied functions in it to make the app easy to work for users. UI had to be clean and precise.
Many posts got posted at a time, showing the app was popular among people in no time.
The task was to handle all the requests and give users a smooth experience.

Text & Messaging
The team added a new feature of earning real money on the platform for more traction.
After proper research and several UI designs, we were able to lock in one precise design.
We made a workable platform for app members, firms, and NGOs, to interact with each other and resolve problems in real-time.
Data Collection
Users can post a problem by adding a photo, video, audio, or description.
Survey questions curated by businesses collect structured data from the community.
Such data is then separated for businesses or NGOs who are willing to resolve the issue.

Members can earn money by taking part in surveys curated by firms.
One can also earn by voting, commenting, or resharing the problem posted by a fellow member.
They can also invite other members to join the app and earn some money.
Rating and Reviews
A user can rate and review a firm or NGO on the basis of resolving a problem.
It helps the social workers to sustain the grade and make the community a better place to live.
The review system builds trust and accountability among firms and community members.

1. Log In & Sign Up

For a first-time user, one has to add personal details like country, city, community one lives in, etc. And, for a community member, one just has to signup with his number & verify it with the help of an OTP.

2. Answer & Earn

It allows online members to earn money. They can do so by taking part in surveys curated by firms. One can also earn by voting, commenting, or resharing the problem posted by a fellow member. They can also invite other members to join the app & earn some money.

An individual can post a problem by adding an image, video, audio, or description. One can also urge to sign the petition by posting it online and help mend the problem first. Q&As and polls are some other ways to engage users in the problem.

4. Community Page

This page is the resemblance of the community in totality. It contains all the members and their problems in one place. The social app plans to integrate AI/ML technology to define specific data to reach a society in time with social help. For members such a data will work as a trust factor. And thus, the firms will also be able to look after people in time.

5. Reviews & Ratings

A user can rate & review a firm or NGO on the basis of resolving a problem. It helps the social workers to sustain the grade & make the community a better place to live.

6. Chat With Community

It is similar to a WhatsApp chat. The users can message and talk about the issues by sending photos, & check on the progress of the same. It is only possible among the members of the community.

7. User Profile Creation

A user's profile consists of posts, reshares, saved ones, and total earnings from engaging on the platform. The profile also has sent invites, post reach ratios, etc.
